We suggest at least an hour for a fun and enjoyable experience - although the more time the better as it can get addictive!
Whilst the Museum is all indoors, the gold panning lessons take place outside - we have umbrellas set up in case of rain.

 Gold Panning T’s & C’s

Payment will be required at the Museum prior to the lesson, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking time. Please ensure you have selected the correct quantity / number of people when booking. The trough is located on the lawn on the lower level of the Museum, it is outdoors but we have some umbrellas to help shelter from the rain, no refunds will be given due to weather.

Pan hire to take to the river is not included in the price, although pans can be hired from the Museum for $5.
We have additional equipment available for hire.

Any additional hire items, will require a bond.
Hiring of equipment is only during business hours and for a maximum period of 4 hours.
Extended hiring is available upon specific request and via pre-arrangement.
